THE 7TH HONG KONG WUSHU INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
7 GREETING OF 60TH NATIONAL DAY
The 7th Hong Kong Wushu international championship.
Congratulations to the winners of the Festival 2009 that was held on March 6-10 with about 5,000 participants from 24 countries.
According to the results of the individual performances in subgroups, the team of “Heavenly River” Center won 9 gold and 5 silver medals.
Vasily Samsonov: 1st place – Chen Style, 2nd place - Shen Style, 5th place – Taiji sword.
Svetlana Kobyakova: 1st place - Shen Style, 1st place - Taiji sword, 2nd place - Chen Style.
Edgar Tobykov: 1st place - Shen Style, 2nd place - Chen Style, 4th place - Taiji sword.
Eduard Kurcheko: 1st place - Taiji sword.
Alexander Orlenko: 1st place - Shen Style, 1st place - Taiji sword, 2nd place - Chen Style.
Victoria Markarova: 1st place – Chen Style, 1st place - Shen Style, 2nd place - Taiji sword.
The team also took gold for team performance, which included:
Chen Intsze, Zhan Xinlin (apprentice of Chinese Master Shen Zhi), Vitally Minenkov, Alexander Orlenko, Vasily Samsonov, Svetlana Kobyakova, Edgar Tobykov, Eduard Kurcheko.

PROGRAMME “THE WAY OF DRAGON”
WITH MASTER SHEN ZHI IS POSTED IN THE VIDEO GALLERY.
Programme with Master Shen Zhi broadcast on July 30 on the “Sport” channel is posted in the section ‘Video”. The main theme of the programme is the story about the family style of the instructor of the “Heavenly River” Center – Shenshi (Shen Style).

5TH INTERNATIONAL MARTIAL ARTS FESTIVAL IN HONG KONG. 2007.
A team from the Center participated in the 5th International Wushu Festival, which took place in Hong Kong on March 16-19. More than 4 thousand athletes from China, USA, Spain, Japan, Russia and other countries of the world competed in Wushu-Taolu, Wushu-Sanda (kickboxing) and Qiging disciplines.
Numerous spectators saw more than 15 thousand performances. Apart from the competitions, there was also experience exchange between the Wushu schools and masters on the grounds given for this purpose and friendly visits of foreign guests to the Wushu schools in China. The members of the “Heavenly River” Center had a special right to take part in the final demonstration show of the Festival.

THE WINNERS OF EUROPA TAICHI PARIS 2006!
On December 14-17 the team of the “Heavenly River” participated in 6th EUROPEAN TAIJIQIUAN AND INTERNAL MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPIONSHIP in France. Thirteen European countries with 450 participants took part in the championship.
Jana Belyelyubskaya – golden medal in “Chen Taijiqiuan. Long Form” nomination.
Ivan Lungov – silver medal in “Chen Taijiqiuan. Long Form” nomination,

ATTENTION! SEMINAR ON OCTOBER 9-13, 2006. QIGONG “FIVE ANIMAL FROLICS“.
A unique complex that comes from the Ancient China from a great healer Hua Tuo, who lived about two thousand years ago. Qigong “Five Animal Frolics” allows to maintain health and youth for many years to the ones practicing it: by using great skills of healing and knowledge of the Chinese medicine Hua Tuo created a surprisingly effective system. He and his first student – Wu Pu, were men with excellent health and longevity; and all the other followers of this tradition, who practice this type of qigong, are able to achieve longevity, have strong teeth and bones, have sharp hearing and eye-sight, and their inside organs are healthy. As well as the present keeper of this tradition – Dong Wenhuan, who passed the knowledge of “Five Animal Frolics” to master Shen Zhi that became a true follower of the tradition, being 90 years old, is healthy, full of energy and leads an active lifestyle.
The complex consists of ten exercises, where each animal is assigned two other animals. It is possible to practise it as a whole or separately. The movements are easy to master. It can be practised by people of any age and physical ability.
